Town to Open Microenterprise Grant Program Applications this Fall

The 2025 Microenterprise grant program will open for applications this Fall.  We are awaiting the funding award, but anticipate to open applications on October 15, 2025.  Informational sessions will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 8:30 a.m., Town Hall, Room 101, and Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 4:30 p.m. via Zoom.  Please register here.

First launched in Bethlehem in 2014, the program has supported 29 businesses to date through four funding rounds to support new and existing microenterprises (5 or fewer employees) in the Town of Bethlehem. As in past rounds, eligible businesses will be able to apply for grants ranging from $5,000 to $35,000 to support the purchase of capital goods, including machinery, furniture, fixtures, equipment; and/or to provide working capital to support business operations (see Program Guidelines below for additional eligibility criteria).

Application Materials
To apply, please complete the application formbusiness certification, and MWBE personal financial statement.  Your application materials should also include the documents requested on page 5 of the application form.  Please review the Program Guidelines and the other reference materials below for full details about the program.  Given that the Microenterprise Grant Review Committee will review applications only during a set application period, businesses should carefully review their applications to ensure completeness, as missing materials will result in delayed review of your application.
