Get Outdoors and Get Together Day

Come join the fun at Get Outdoors and Get Together Day!

This event takes place on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Department of Environmental Conservation facilities and State Park Lands across the state. The goal is to bring people of all abilities, ages, identities, and backgrounds together for fun, healthful activities at public lands across NYS.

At Five Rivers Environmental Education Center, visitors can join a guided bird walk on an accessible trail or try one of many outdoor activities including inflatable archery, nature investigations and nature crafts.

Rain or shine at the NYSDEC Five Rivers Environmental Education Center on Saturday, June 14 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Free admission and free parking.

The CDTA Nature Bus will provide free service to Five Rivers on the day of the event.
